Kuching Bus Route and Destination

BUS ROUTE INFORMATION THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW IN KUCHING!

   I have been working in a local bus company in Kuching, i'm aware that there is a few issue that may confuse the tourist such as :

1. Which bus to take?
2. How long does the journey take?
3. How often does the bus run?
4. How do i pay for the ticket?
5. How much does it cost for the ticket?

   So i start this blog to give information about the bus route and destination. Okay, i will start with the question.

   In Kuching there is 4 city bus company, Bau Transport Company (BTC), Sarawak Transport Company (STC), Bus Asia (BA), and City Public Link (CPL). The starting point for BTC, STC and CPL will be at Jalan Masjid, in front of the Mosque. BA will be at Jalan Masjid in front of the open air eating market.

  Kuching Waterfront
- bus number: K1 & K11 (CPL)
- took 5 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 40 mins
- cost RM1 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Cat Museum
- bus number: K5 (CPL)
- took around 20-25 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 1 hour
- cost around RM1.50 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Friendship Garden
- bus number: K8 (CPL)
- took around 20-35 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 30 mins
- cost around RM2 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Bako National Park
- bus number: 1 (BA)
- took around 1 hour from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 1 hour
- cost around RM3.50 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Semenggok Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
- bus number : K6 (CPL)
- took around 1 hour
- bus operating 2 times per day
     Morning
     Depart: 07:20AM
     Back :  11:00AM

     Noon
     Depart: 13:00PM
     Back :   16:00PM
- cost RM4 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Fairy Cave & Wind Cave
- bus number: 2 (STC) (BTC) & B2 (CPL)
- took around 1 hour and 15 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 1 hour and 30 mins (i'm not that sure)
- cost RM4.50 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid
Reminder : all bus wont reach till Fairy Cave and Wind Cave, the last destination is Bau Town, you have to take another transport like mini van or taxi from Bau Town to Wind Cave and Fairy Cave.

  Kubah National Park
- bus number : K21 (CPL)
- took around 45 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 3 hours, 4 times per day
- cost RM4 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Jong's Crocodile Park
- bus number : K3A (STC) (CPL)
- took around 1 hour from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every hours 
- cost RM3 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid
Reminder : the bus will stop beside the road, you have to walk around 15 mins to go to the park.

 The Spring Shopping Mall
- bus number : K8 K11 (CPL) & 8G (STC)
- took around 15-20 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 30 mins 
- cost RM1.50 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  Vivacity Megamall
- bus number : K8 (CPL)
- took around 25-30 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 30 mins
- cost RM2 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid

  CityOne Megamall
- bus number : 8G
- took around 20-25 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 1 hours 30 mins
- cost around RM2 for 1 way from Jalan Masjid (I'm not so sure sorry!)

  Boulevard Shopping Mall
- bus number : K3A K10A (CPL) & 3A (STC)
- took around 30 mins from Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every 30 mins
- cost RM1.50 from Jalan Masjid

  The Summer Shopping Mall
- bus number : K10A (CPL) (BA)
- took 1 hour 15 mins Jalan Masjid
- bus operating every hours
- cost RM3 from Jalan Masjid
